It isn’t just the awesome flavors and sweetness of Vermont produced maple syrup, but the fact that this syrup is produced on small family farms, not “big business” production factories. Supporting the small farmers and the traditional way they make this syrup is quite frankly our duty and necessary to keep our American traditions alive. Anybody can boil maple sap in steam kettles or big gas fired cookers, but it takes real skill and a little love to make and bottle delicious maple and ship it for all to enjoy. Please buy this product. It is truly delicious and you will love it!
We just received our second order of syrup from Maple Farmers. We liked our first bottle so much that I ordered another quart and 5 small bottles for gifts. The syrup is delicious and the packing for shipment is amazing! All 6 bottles arrived snug and safe less than a week after placing my order. Maple Farmers is the perfect way to purchase your syrup while supporting small Vermont farms!
The only maple syrup we use at home. We enjoy it on pancakes, French Toast, and even a splash in our club soda at dinner as a healthy alternative to regular soda. It’s truly First Place, Trophy maple syrup.
This must be what enlightenment feels like - I now know how real maple syrup tastes. Each syrup in this sampler has its own distinct flavor profile, and every one is divine. Now I'll never buy from anywhere else. I originally switched from grocery store syrup to Maple Farmers because they conduct bird-friendly farming practices. In addition to caring for the ecosystem, I'm delighted to report the upgrade in syrup quality to my life gives this purchase an A++!
I have been ordering your maple syrup for a couple of years now. I am pretty sure I have received some from each farm. Every single bottle is perfect. I have countless ways that I use the syrup, but my favorite is in my coffee in the morning. I am not sorry to say that I am stingy with it, I only share with a select few people. I do shout from the mountain top to all that will listen about the syrup. Thank you maple farmers for all that you do, and keep up the good work!! ❤️
Just had an occasion to try your yummy maple syrup for the first time, and was I ever pleasantly surprised!
Of course, the flavor of natural maple syrup was there, but I also picked up the subtle influence of a deep woods, hardwood camp fire on a crisp, cool evening, camped out under the stars...
In short, a truly old timey, authentic flavor experience that only be experienced through maple syrup prepared in the natural, time-honored traditions.
Congratulations and thank you!

By far the best maple syrup in Vermont (and possibly the world)! I visited Maple Flower Farm's sugar shack and Cory takes such care and diligent in making a product that is so special. When speaking to him you can hear his passion for producing maple syrup in a conscious and responsible way. The members of the Maple Farmers are truly passionate about teaching people the importance of supporting and investing in small family farms that produce high quality syrup. Plus it tastes like nectar from the gods!
Excellent product. I love Maple syrup & now can enjoy the real flavor over just sweetness. Purchased the dark & very dark. My daughter has used it her granola bar recipe. It's good on cottage cheese, french toast, & of course pancakes. My grandfather was a vegetable, fruit, and pork farmer. I grew up eating from the ground, the fruit tree, and the butcher shop. Now I get a direct connection to the sap. Thanks, I know how hard you work. I wish more people valued farms and farmers.
If it was possible to provide 10 stars I would. My wife and I learned about Maple Farmers in a wonderful article in Vermont Magazine. Thirty minutes later we placed an order and shortly after received a welcoming response from Cory who then followed up the next day with a copy of the newsletter which featured the Howard's farm. What a wonderful way to connect with the people, process and product. To say the syrup is the best we've ever tasted would be an understatement. Being able to learn about the maple farmers, their craft, and to find the locations on an old AAA New England map made several breakfasts even more special. We are so grateful to have learned about the business and will be lifelong customers for sure. Many thanks!
I have ordered multiple quarts of this maple syrup and each time it is incredibly delicious. I always choose the dark and robust for the depth and richness of flavor. The glass bottles are reasonably priced and arrive extremely well packaged-thank you! I will continue to support your small family farms!
Our house stopped buying "pancake syrup" at least 5 years ago but we were buying our maple syrup from Costco. Per a recommendation from frugalwoods.com I tried some of this maple syrup and I cannot believe the difference in taste from the "pure maple syrup" that we would buy at the store. It is sweet and slightly nutty. I also love that it doesn't come in a plastic bottle! We will definitely be making this a permanent switch!
I loved being able to get my maple syrup directly from the Howard family. I also liked that it was in glass bottles. I don't like plastic packaging as I know sometimes it gets into the product. I also liked having a choice of three grades of the syrup to choose from. I will definitely order again. This morning for breakfast I really enjoyed the old-fashioned bread pudding I made, using the maple syrup as the sweetener. My husband really liked it too.
I absolutely love this maple syrup. I stumbled across maple farmers after moving to New Hampshire for grad school, and have been burning through bottles for waffles, cocktails, dressings, and marinades ever since. I've tried and enjoy all three grades but am personally partial to the dark & robust. This stuff is truly a cut above and 100% worth venturing outside the grocery store!
We live in Virginia, so it's hard to come by the real stuff. Sure, we can go to Kroger and pick up some 100% Pure Maple Syrup in a decorative bottle, but there's one problem: flavor. All the big manufacturers (and a rising number of small producers) are using reverse osmosis.
I've heard it said, "It doesn't make a difference in flavor," but I assure you it does. Reverse osmosis imparts an almost "synthetic" flavor in my opinion, which in pure maple syrup is unacceptable. I grew up in western New York State, where my dad boiled sugar maple sap all the way down to syrup every spring; no reverse osmosis used.
So, I was very pleased to find this website and can report that we love the syrup we got from Maple Flower Farm. It's the real deal with none of the reverse osmosis flavor found in everything else down here. Not only that, but it allows us to support traditional, small-scale manufacturers. Thank you!
My husband and I received a bottle of maple syrup as a gift, and we are blown away by the quality. The flavor is so much richer than any of the maple syrups we have tried previously. We will definitely be back for more once this bottle runs out!
